Deongelo Holmes, the relatively cool half of the Atlanta based rap duo Ying Yang Twins, has beenarrested for allegedly assaulting his wife, TMZ reports.
Back in November, Holmes’ wife, Porsche, had reportedly accused him of punching her in the head which got her left eye swollen.
Georgia state prosecutors have since charged Holmes with ‘family violence’ and two counts of simple battery. Deongelo was released on bond after agreeing to stay away from his wife — among other restrictions.
Deongelo adds to the burgeoning list of Hip-hop acts that have been in the news for misbehaving. Only last week, Kanye West assaulted an 18 year old boy for insulting his wife, while Chris Brown has been in and out of the courts since first hitting Rihanna, back in February 2009.
