Christopher Brian Bridges AKA 'Ludacris' who has not put out an album since his 2010's Battle of the Sexes but who has appeared in several big Hollywood movies including the 'Fast & Furious' franchise seems to be having some financial issues. Perhaps it is time for his much anticipated Ludaversal album to drop.

The ATL 'rapper' was in court on Wednesday with his 'baby mama' Tamika Fuller where he explained that he is currently unable to pay the child support demanded of him. Fuller demanded $15, 000 a month for 2-month-old Cai. In Fuller’s eyes, Luda’s net worth was high enough for him to afford this number. She
even allegedly claimed that he spent nearly that amount on pets and lawn care. Last month, Fuller also accused the rapper of neglecting his daughter.

Luda, as he is usually called hinted that his financial predicament is as a result of the death of Paul Walker, the 'Fast & Furious' co-star who had a fatal auto crash in November 2013. He further explained that he was banking on using the money from the action flick to pay his baby mama, but Walker’s death postponed the release of the film, which means Luda could not pay Fuller on time.

"It saddens me that it has come to this,” Cai wrote on Instagram. “I did not file on him. Nor would I ever try to attempt to extort my child's father… [Cai] has yet to meet her father and it's unfortunate because I would never keep him from seeing her.”

Ludacris, in turn, argued that he could only
afford $1,800 a month because of the decline in his net worth. The rapper claimed he only made $55,000 in all of 2013.

A judge split the difference between Luda's and Fuller’s claims, ordering the rapper/actor to pay $7,000 a month in child support for the time being. But the judge does plan to scrutinize financial documents to determine exactly what Luda's net worth is. It is thus possible that the rapper’s child support payments could change down the line.

However, according to Forbes, Ludacris was the ninth-highest-paid hip hop artist of 2013. The rapper is supposedly worth $12 million, more than stars like Pitbull and Drake. As Inquisitr noted, Ludacris even acknowledged his placement on the Forbes list. Though the sum demanded by Fuller may be ridiculous but by Luda's confirmation of the Forbes list, he can very well pay much higher than the $1,800 he argued for.

And Ludacris is apparently not the only 'Fast & Furious' star claiming that Paul Walker’s death hurt his net worth. Tyrese also declared he could not pay his child support because of the delay of the film.
