Presenting the Spring/Summer 2014 ad campaign for <strong>Christian Louboutin</strong>. Collaborating with <strong>Peter Lippman</strong>, Louboutin took the more ‘artsy’ route for its S/S 2014 campaign with elaborate flowers using inspirations from some of the worlds most famous paintings including <strong>Vincent Van Gogh</strong>, <strong>Claude Monet</strong>and <strong>Henri Fantin-latour</strong> paintings. The campaign shows a vibrant and pretty juxtaposition of the fabulous shoes & bags against the floral decor.</div>

The designer in his own words: "<i>What intrigued me were the similarities between "Africans" and Americans in fashion. Americans buy into designer brands to express social status while "Africans" wear more extravagant fabrics to express their social status</i>." </span><br style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', Trebuchet, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 18.200000762939453px;" /><br style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', Trebuchet, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 18.200000762939453px;" /><span style="background-color: white; color: #444444; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 18.200000762939453px;">So he combined different fabrics like Kente from Ghana, the  woven <i>Bazan</i> fabric from Senegal<i></i>and Mud cloth from Mali to create his fusion collection of elegant shapes. I love the subtle elegance of some of the pieces.
