It is on record that DJ Jimmy JATT is the first Nigerian disc jockey to release a compilation album, a successful one at that.
It’s been close to seven years since the critically acclaimed ‘The Definition‘ album was released and DJJJ is once again compiling songs for another release which he has tentatively titled ‘Gidi Nation’.
After releasing singles like ‘Komije’, ‘Cool as ice’, ‘Emujo‘ and ‘Victory song’ over the last two years, the project might just be finally taking form with its fifth release – the mature but popping ‘Glasses up‘ featuring heavyweights 2face Idibia, Sound Sultan along with Burna Boy and RnB/Pop rookie Yung Greyc.
