Joe Shyna (@joeshyna) has been recording music since the age of 12 and it all started with a love for rap music by the likes of Jay Z, Biggie and Eminem.

When his family migrated to London the fusion of cultures and sounds enabled him to develop a love for creating music of different textures and not conform to the norm.

The debut offering as a solo artist is called YOU MAKE MY HEART GO and is produced by Melvitto. It is a afro pop song that uses signature afro sounds but manages to blend a catchy church like chorus with slick rapping and sultry verses.

The single take from the debut album slated to drop in the second quarter of 2014.  There is definitely more to come from this newcomer.

His debut promotional single Make My Heart Go-  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g8T_v4MH9PM

gained him recognition amongst the midlands club and party scene.  This in turn made it possible for him to perform as an opening act one of Africa’s largest comedians Basketmouth in Manchester as well as the closing act at his Birmingham show.

His second single Status (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1eEBHXSl0Rk) helped to keep supporters interested and further assisted in his rise from the underground.

For the next venture the next single will be a song called Shake It.  It is an Afro dance mid tempo track that is reminiscent of an early 2000s dancehall track.  We have looked at concepts for the video and after a month of research came to an agreement. Looking at Sean Pauls GET BUSY video  we were inspired at the way it was able to translate the mood and unity that Afro Caribbean families have whilst celebrating their festivities.
