The American state of Louisiana will get one of its native sons back as Lil Boosie has been released from Louisiana State Penitentiary in Angola Wednesday night (March 5). Burl Cain, warden of the Angola facility, confirmed that the “Wipe Me Down” rapper has been transferred to a sheriff department facility in St. Francisville in which he met his family.

Boosie was placed in prison in 2009 for drug charges and faced a murder trail back in
2012, in which he was found not guilty. Lil Boosie, whose government name is Torrence
Hatch, was released at 7:10 p.m. and will attend a news conference this coming Monday in New Orleans.
