Kanye West is on a 2-year probation while Chris Brown will remain in jail till at least April 23, 2014.
American rapper, Kanye West, was on Monday, March 17, 2014, sentenced to two years probation and 250 hours of community service by a Los Angeles judge.
The rapper was on trial for an August 2013 assault on a paparazzo, Daniel Ramos, who tried to take pictures of him at LAX Airport, Los Angeles, California.
Kanye, who pled no contest to the single count of misdemeanour battery, was also instructed by the court to undergo a 24-session anger management programme.

In a similar incident, singer Chris brown was on Monday denied bail and ordered to remain behind bars until his next hearing on April 23.
The ‘Don’t judge me’ singer was recently arrested after getting thrown out of a court ordered rehabilitation centre for violating rules forbidding him from touching women and refusing to take a drug test after an unauthorised outing.
The sitting judge made the decision to deny Chris bail, citing his inability to stay out of trouble. Chris Brown has been on probation for five years, since assaulting his then girlfriend, Rihanna, and committing a number of other assault-related offences.
