American singer, Brandy Norwood, who was the co-headliner of the Classic FM Valentine concert, was seen crying uncontrollably upon leaving the stage after her performance in Lagos, yesterday.
We had gathered earlier that the pop singer fell ill en route Nigeria over the weekend.
A NET correspondent spotted the singer her weeping, head bent and mouth covered, as she was being escorted to her room immediately after a performance that can best be described as awesome.
Her bodyguards did not allow our photographers the opportunity to capture the moment, and no one gave an explanation for the tears.
While some attributed it to her performing while being ill, concert attendees believe she might have been overwhelmed by the love and warm reception she got from the near-full capacity audience. It was the singer’s third time in Nigeria and possibly her biggest outing yet in a country that’s a big revenue puller for American artistes.
