She might not have picked up her first Golden Globe but Lupita Nyong’o shone bright at the 71st edition of the Golden Globes Award which held on January 12, 2014 at the Beverly Hills Hotel, California.
The Kenyan actress who was nominated for ‘Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture‘, for her role in the 2013 British-American epic historical drama film ‘12 Years of a Slave‘ graced the Red Carpet beautifully dressed in a Ralph Lauren gown which accentuated her curves.
Despite sharing the glory of ‘12 Years of a Slave‘ winning ‘Best Motion Picture‘, the actress lost in her category to Jennifer Lawrence (‘American Hustle‘).
