Beyonce Releases New Visual Album Featuring Jay Z, Blue And Drake
Watch Beyonce explain the reasons behind her surprise visual album, which is out now.
After months of speculation, Beyonce has surprised everyone today with the release her new album, self-titled Beyonce, which is available exclusively via iTunes, now.
The follow-up to last year's '4' is the singer's first visual album, meaning that its 14 songs are accompanied by 17 music videos that were shot around the world in cities including Rio De Janeiro, Houston and New York City. Perhaps evem more excitingly, the album features a series of high profile collaborations, including her husband Jay Z and a song with her daughter Blue Ivy Carter, as well as collaborations with Drake and Frank Ocean.
Beyonce said: "I see music. It's more than just what I hear. When I'm connected to something, I immediately see a visual or a series of images that are tied to a feeling or an emotion, a memory from my childhood, thoughts about life, my dreams or my fantasies. And they're all connected to the music."
